‘‘Twas a Grand Event

30th Jan 2020

Grandparents' Day is such an important part of the school calendar and is now firmly established as the highlight of Catholic Schools' Week.
Preparation for Grandparents' Day began in early January with the children producing art for their display in school. The theme for Catholic Schools week was 'Living in Harmony with God's Creation', so the children made a tree and added leaves, describing their grandparents and how important they are in their lives. We continued our preparations by making a short video which was shown after our assembly. Our assembly conveyed the massage of Pope Francis to love creation and all within.
We wish to thank all our grandparents for coming to our school today, your presence made us feel very special. Through your example we learn to live like Jesus. We hope you love our handmade gifts. We can’t wait to see them on the mantle or the fridge, when we visit next. We want you to know just how much we love you.
Enjoy the photos and video!
