Moneynick Pupils Go Green at the Gardening Club!
22nd Jun 2017
Gardening Club finished on Monday after 6 weeks of digging, weeding, planting, watering, making and tasting. Pupils in the Gardening Club planted loads of flowers and vegetables and some berry bushes. They got to taste their own watercress and some lettuce and tomatoes. We are looking forward to the autumn to taste some of our other produce. The sensory garden and scarecrow were made on rainy days when we couldn't get out. The pupils are enjoying listening to the "music" from their windchime, playing the saucepan drums, learning to do buttons, buckles and laces on the "Tying Tree" and "Button Flower". A big thank you to the Friends of Moneynick for providing the funding for this club.
