International Nurses' Day 2020
A day observed around the world, on the 12th of May every year, International Nurses Day is an event that celebrates the contributions that nurses make to society.
This day has been celebrated since 1965, the International Council of Nurses were the pioneers of the event. It is also celebrated on the 12th of May as it commemorates Florence Nightingale's birthday, the founder of modern, day to day, nursing.
A special day to say thank you and stay safe to all the nurses in our local community, in our country and across the world. #thankyou
