Community Sports Network Energise Programme
The staff at Moneynick completed the Energise Training Programme today.
The Energise Programme is based on learning about nutritional awareness through physical activity. As a school we have an excellent schedule of physical activities however we need to balance our exercise with well-informed eating habits.
The energise programme has 6 different sessions, which will be taught to all classes during Term 2.
The lessons include;
Session 1: The eat well guide
Session 2: Why fruit & vegetables are an important part of our diet
Session 3: Sugars in foods
Session 4: Hydration & what we should drink
Session 5: Fats in foods
Session 6: How to make your meals healthy.
We thank Emma for her informative and energetic training, and we look forward to delivering the programme to all our pupils during Term 2.
