A massive congratulations to our Primary 1 pupil who was highly commended in the Bank of Ireland Open Farm Competition. This yearâs schoolâs competition theme, âsupporting local produce in Northern Irelandâ provided the opportunity to raise awareness amongst pupils on the origin of food and the all-important role that farming families play in society, producing food to feed a growing population, caring for the countryside, providing employment, supporting rural communities and the economy.
A massive 17,000 entries were submitted and we are delighted with our pupilâs success. #takefive #keeplearningâď¸
