This week our Sustrans Officer, Johnny has challenged pupils to complete a research task investigating local cycling and walking trails right here in NI! Pupils can use a tablet or computer to complete the worksheet. We’d encourage you to watch the video and give this a go!
It is important to talk to each other. Complete an activity each day. Listen to your child as they complete the activities. Talk about how they are feeling.
The activities can be completed in an exercise book or you could even start a journal or diary.
You will need two dice, the board and two sets of counters. If you don't have counters use coins. One person can use 1p coins the other 2p coins. Using counters will allow you to reuse the printed game board. You could also draw the board onto a large piece of paper or cardboard.
Rules
Throw the dice. Multiply the two numbers.
Cover the number with your colour of counter or coin.
The first to get 4 counters/coins in a row is the winner.
